Ume and Bring Back the Guns on "The SugarHill Sessions"

(HOUSTON, TEXAS) – May 22nd, 2006 – Legendary Houston music recording studio SugarHill Recording Studios and Pacifica Radio Network launched The SugarHill Sessions in April 2006, on Houston’s Pacifica affiliate station 90.1FM KPFT to focus attention on live independent music in the southeast area of Texas.   The SugarHill Sessions’ first music guest was Philly band Marah (Yep Roc Records).

This month The SugarHill Sessions hosts indie rock bands Ume (Austin) and Bring Back the Guns (Houston), where they will be interviewed by KPFT DJ Rhonda Garner and perform a live studio set.  The show will air on May 26th on KPFT 90.1FM at 2pm and can be streamed live from kpft.org.
