Sky Blue 72 Begins Album at SugarHill

(HOUSTON, TEXAS)—June 18, 2004—Houston-based pop/rock trio Sky Blue 72 completed three songs at SugarHill Recording Studios. The project was tracked and mixed by Senior Staff Engineer Steve Christensen and produced by Robbie Parrish.

Sky Blue 72 is led by drummer and vocalist Jessica Zweback, who won the 2003 Houston Press Music Award for Best Female Vocalist. Rounding out the band are guitarist and vocalist Davis Jumper and J. Zweback’s brother, bassist Frank Zweback.

The band intends on using the three completed songs to seek label representation. Sky Blue 72 will return to SugarHill next week to begin tracking the remaining songs for their full-length release which will be completed this Fall.
