SugarHill Mixes it Up with Music World/Sanctuary Urban

(HOUSTON, TEXAS) –July 29th, 2005–Music World/Sanctuary Urban were busy mixing at the legendary SugarHill Recording Studios for Mason Road.
 
Music World/Sanctuary Urban boasts an impressive roster of artists including Bizarre (of D 12), Michelle Williams, Jon B, Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire, Keith Sweat, Solange Knowles, Wu-Tang Clan, and now Mason Road.

SugarHill’s talented mix team, Dan Workman and Steve Christensen, mixed a single for the group.  A&R director, Huy Nguyen , decided to put a 'Houston stamp' on their breakout song,"Can't Make You Love Me" and wanted to see what kind of flavor Workman and Christensen could bring to the table.

Dan Workman
is President of SugarHill Recording Studios and a renowned producer who has worked with top artists including Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, and ZZ Top .  
 
Steve Christensen is SugarHill’s Senior Staff Engineer and notorious for his mixing skills.  Christensen has worked with a host of talented national and regional artists including Engineer for Destiny’s Child live tour, Twista, Brian McKnight, Cash Money Records and he continues to be a highly requested engineer in the region.
 
The Mason Road mix was so successful that band member Brian asked if the mix team would be available to mix the rest of the album.
