Glass Intrepid Wins Recording Deal at SugarHill

(HOUSTON, TEXAS) –April 22nd, 200– The votes are in and Austin-based rock band Glass Intrepid are the winners of a lucrative 2 song recording deal at the legendary SugarHill Recording Studios, as part of the unique unscripted TV series Unsigned.
 
Glass Intrepid
were up against 9 unsigned Texas bands, where they battled it out at Houston’s live venue The Meridian, on Saturday April 2nd, 2005.  The bands were critiqued by a panel of the music industry’s top professionals including, Joanne Grand (Senior Director, Rock Formats, Jive Records), Don Jantzen (Music Director of 94.5FM’s The Buzz) and Paul Nugent (Artist Manager and Indie Label Owner).
 
SugarHill’s Staff Engineer John Griffin will engineer Glass Intrepid’s project in Studio A, where they will track and mix.
 
In addition to recording time at SugarHill Recording Studios, Glass Intrepid will also receive a performance slot at Buzzfest on Saturday April 23rd, 2005 as part of the show’s prize package.
