Dan Workman Produces Carolina Bedetta at SugarHill
(HOUSTON, TEXAS) –June 14th, 2005– Argentinean pop songstress Carolina Bedetta has recently completed her first full-length debut album at SugarHill Recording Studios. The project was produced by Dan Workman, President of SugarHill Recording Studios and renowned producer, who has worked with top artists including Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, and ZZ Top.
A diverse singer with a diverse background, Carolina and Producer Dan Workman recorded an album that transcended Carolina’s influences. In addition to producing the album, Workman co-wrote many of the songs; “The fact that Dan played an important role in this project made a huge difference to me because he helped me put into words what I couldn't express," Carolina explained.
The album was recorded between April 2004 and March 2005 and was recorded and mixed by SugarHill’s Senior Staff Engineer, Steve Christensen, in SugarHill’s Studio A and B.
Workman described the music as “Songs about a young woman coming of age--learning how to become a modern woman”.
While the album remains untitled, Carolina is planning a South American release date in the Fall, as well as a series of shows in Argentina. She also plans to tour the US in the beginning of 2006.
