Axsion Brings Reggaeton to SugarHill

(HOUSTON, TEXAS) – December 8th, 2005 – Reggaeton sensation AXSION has been creating a storm in the reggaeton music scene in Houston. Their new single La Fiestah will be featured in the DVD release of the new Sam Mendes movie “Jarhead," in addition to getting their promotional tour sponsored by Heineken.

AXSION are currently at SugarHill Recording Studios completing their new full-length debut album titled “Accion” with Senior Engineer John Griffin in SugarHill’s Studio B and C.
Produced by G Lion 808 from Dubtex , Joe B from Rebel Crew, Draw Beatz and Dj GuerroMIX; the album has an eclectic mix of instruments, blending in traditional and new sounds of reggaeton. The album consists of 15 Spanish songs and 5 English versions.

”Working with John was great because he didn’t make me feel like the clock was ticking and he totally gets the sound that you want. If you’re completely comfortable in your studio environment and able to trust your engineer, it doesn’t matter how much time you spend," commented lead singer D-MAN Escobar.

AXSION were recently selected to perform at the Megaton 2 Bash; a concert featuring the hottest reggaeton acts, presented by the bi-lingual Houston radio station KLOL Mega 101, where they performed with popular latin/hiphop act Aventura.

The new single La Fiestah will be released in December 2005, and will be supported by a radio campaign and select live performances.
