Following his graduation from Full Sail in 2003 and a stint as the production assistant at Dan Workman Music, Josh Applebee joined SugarHill Recording Studios as an engineer in 2004.

Among his first projects were recordings of the chamber orchestra at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, where he now works as the Recital Manager overseeing all audio and video production and recordings of school recitals and mastering their audio archives.

Josh works as a live sound engineer and on remote live concert recordings, film scores and has worked as the front of house sound engineer for local rock outfit, The Southern Backtones since 2004.
