Chris Longwood
Chris Longwood is the Chief of Staff/Operations Director and joined SugarHill in early 2008. Learning from his mentors, along with combining some of his own techniques, he’s developed a strong, technical savvy that maximizes audio clarity and can be applied to a broad range of projects.

His experience ranges from recording on 2" analog tape into the digital world, using Pro Tools HD, in conjunction with a large format console. He likes to utilize the flexibility of digital editing, with the art of analog mixing in his work.

Chris works on television and film commercial projects with our partners Zenfilm (MidSouth Bank, Delta Downs) and engineers the Live From SugarHill video podcast.

He’s produced both corporate and independent projects and local acts including Benjamin Wesley, Tha F*cking Transmi$$ions (featuring MTV personality Cornbreadd) The Handshake, Runaway Sun, Female Demand, The King Khan and BBQ show, Roy Head and Johnny Bush. He’s engineered vocals for major label artist Rev Theory (Interscope Records) on their WWE theme song and has worked on the Sauza Tequila ad campaign.

Additionally, he is seasoned in operatic sessions and records orchestral concerts for Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, the Fayetteville Chamber Music Festival and the Round Top Festival Institute. In his spare time, Chris is a master Etch-a-sketch artist.
